Joni & Ramon, you're driving me insane! No I am driving myself insane, literally. I did like 50 runs with Joni's setup.. I'll beat ibby soon, but that will be it I'm afraid, end of my capacities. 6:07/6:06, go back to your home planet!!
edit: Damn ibby just did a new one. Now I have to shove off 1.4 seconds! Maaaan![]()

Love this track. You always know that you can improve some more if you just concentrate a bit better.![]()

Yeah, true. What annoys me is that there are several corners where I know I can win about 0.3-0.4 seconds (each!), because I see it happen from time to time. However, if I do take them better than usual, I have no idea what I did differently and why it had just been faster. Same thing happens in the other direction, i.e. loosing 0.3-0.4 seconds. Some corner I just can't do consistently, for instance the very first corner of the lap, i HATE it, I just can't get it right ^^ The other one I hate is this long-drawn-out right turn corner where you just can't find the right apex.

This is kinda track where you will always have some room for improvement. When i did my 6.08 lap i didint think that could improve it much anymore, but even in my 6.06 lap there was few some big moments where alsmost lost it and cost a lot of time. I can do first sector pretty close to pb on all laps, but in s2 its more tricky, i think if i just could get it together i might be able to shave alteast sec or so only there, also some tenths in last sector as in my pb lap i got massivly sideways at exit on that turn before long straight = lost some speed thru whole straight.

If it's the turn I'm thinking of, the apex is the second curbing section (zebra zone).Yeah, true. Sorry, he asked me not to share it. But tbh, it's not as important as you might think. At leas it's not as important as I thought. Sure it gave me a couple of seconds right away, mainly because I didn't have a proper gearing. But I still managed only a 6:30 on the first few tries with his setups, and thought maybe 6:25 is possible for me, but nothing more. Then I hit the 6:25, and the same thing repeated a few times.. Now I'm at 6:12, potential showing 6:08, and I know <6:10 is totally doable for me, I just have to practice more. I bet there's a ~6:15 possible with the default setup, and well, obivously at least a 6:06 with a better one. But as long as you don't hit something around 6:15-6:20 it's definiately not the setup that's the limitation(Look at Mickael Bertani, he's using default setup and got 6:22)

Thats what i been trying to tell to guys, overall most of guys seems to think setup is sort of thing that makes some magical stuff to happen which aint really the case.
It does depend on car & track tho, like this car has pretty decent default setup so wont need much editing to be able to make decent times. On some cars you need to make more changes when you want to get most out of it and shave off the last tenths or second, but with 95% of the cars only very basic changes are needed to be able to make fairly competetive times. Its just bad excuse to claim its all about "poor setup".
