Am I really 21 seconds off the pace at this track? Seems a bit excessive to me. Yes, I am using cockpit view and the base setup, still, 21 seconds is an eternity. We just raced a superpole for lemans in our GTR2 league and to be sure I was off the best times by a lot, but not 22seconds and our top guys are very, very good.

I think my times were around6 seconds off the top times, which sort of makes sense considering our cars are not spec and a few other factors, but 22 seconds really makes me wonder.

I hate to say it but both of these tracks are currently totally unsuitable for the hotlap comps !
Loire has huge cuts on the chicanes that maybe you guys above haven't found yet. The first you barely have to slow down for
And Badenring Historic gives you a cut track warning on that second (3rd ?) chicane even if you drive it at 20 kph staying perfectly in the centre of the track. Ruined so many laps and just got totally infuriated with it.

Indeed, discovered that moments ago when I went from 3:36.6 to 3:32.1 just by cutting a bit those last two chicanes at Loire... actually the last one allows quite a massive cut.

I was on it...and working the setup but still 13 seconds off the fastest....erm...nope, nope, and nope....Must be some serious cutting going on....no worries though, cos it is still pre-alpha....

Unfortunately, I gave up without even setting a time.
I don't know why but this track looks uglier than most of the WIP tracks on my computer, and the lack of braking marks (combine with the low visibility frfom the cockpit) made me quit quickly. Moreover, when I missed, I realized that track cutting detection wasn't there at the moment, so the competition is biased.
Too bad, I was pretty excited by this event u__u
