This showed up today after waiting for the FB stock to drop even more (I guess it remembered because I looked them up before):

Is this really the company that bought into the German offshoot of SMS? Really? What am I missing in this dreadful picture?

OK here's the deal, lets go ahead and put all funding in place!

Everyone moves UP one level, i.e. (optional of course)

    Junior to Team Member = 6,794 x e15.00 = e101,910.00
    Team Member to Full Member = 7,394 x e20.00 = e146,980.00
    Full Member to Senior Member = 3,640 x e55.00 = e200,200.00
    Senior Member to Manager = 810 x e900.00 = e729,000.00
Manager to Manager = 248 x e1000.00 = e248,000.00 (not if you are already multiple)
    Senior Manager remains constant

    Total additional revenue = e1,426,090.00
Grand total including funds already received = e3,961,870.00

Are we ready, I am..... give it some thought.

I think the Senior Managers want to contribute more as well, but we're all tapped out atm.. lol Seriously, I'm so low on cash right now that I'm being extra careful to avoid any unnecessary expenses, like medical bills or legal fees..

It is, however, pretty striking how much more money we could generate if everyone just ups their tool pack one level. I'm sure a lot of people are like me though.. haven't got the cash atm. We still have time though. Ian hasn't hinted at it at all, but it doesn't seem impossible that we could finish the funding just via WMD members, meaning he wouldn't need to hit up a big investor for more funds. He'd just need to get boxed copy distribution figured out.

The key, it seems to me, is that 3.75m is still the budget. If it is, and you figure in how much time there is until the game ships, it doesn't seem unreasonable that we could fund the balance with WMD members. That would be pretty epic.

I know Senior Members would like to contribute more, but they have really reached out thus far, the lessors need to now carry more of the load.

I wouldn't think for a second that we would get 100% participation but I bet over the term with just the existing members we could make an awfully good run at it. I firmly believe pCars will be the best racing simulator ever or ever will be, if not we would have no one to blame but ourselves.

Having retired with 50+ years experience in the computer busines, and from this experience, I can assure you that we have in place at SMS exactly the right management team with exactly the right vision and exactly the right technical talent pool and the novel WMD concept to succeed as never before.

I think those funds are pretty much secured since they'll want to have the full version at the end ( why would they not use what they brought in already as a discount )
I guess quite a few of the senior members are the same guys with different accounts ( too big a gap between senior and manager )
so not that easy to get them all to upgrade

Yes, but if pCars ends up as I believe then we need to be thinking about how much of this nonInvestment will be returned. pCars would then be an easy sell to anyone interested in racing simulators or games (arcade), the hype should be enormous at release.

I think Seniors adding another Senior account instead of hopping to Manager would be less arcade. I mean more realistic
