As a Dutch guy with a physics degree, I'm in even more trouble because in 'normal life' it's comma for decimals and dot for thousands, but in my (scientific) work it's decimal point for decimals.
Forget about the fancy places and you'll discover a new world. If one is conquered by the stomach, you'll never leave Portugal after tartes PORTUGUESE tipical dishes. Plus there's so much more variety (not just pasta or beer... and there's life beyond steak). And if you look under "petiscos" then you'll die before trying all of them
