How long can we sign up? I'd like to be a part a bit earlier this time, but have to calculate my finances rather strictly.

    Silver it is

Is there any little bonuses for PCARS backers (investors)?

And is there any other choices than Paypal? Paypal is rubbish and charges much higher rate than my Master Card.

    Yes you can upgrade toolpacks.

I imagine if the funding goal is reached that may stop, don't know at that point...

    Not enough info guys.

I seem to remember it was stated that funding this was only available for a limited time.
How long is this available? Some of us have $$ to budget.

    1 month?
    3 months?

    More info pls.

    Thanks.

    2. Is it really tied in to the purchase info?
    3. If it is, what happens to people where the names will not match?
    4. What happens when the name is not available for registering? (2 people with same name, or possibly smartasses registering known names to block them)
    5. Can you make the "currently active users" list visible only for "toolpacked" users for a little more privacy? Right now everyone can see it without even registering.
The real name is a forum requirement, while the TOS is about the service. It's like when you buy something online, they will ask for your name, but the contract doesn't specify that you must use your real name (because it's implied). However, we'll ask our lawyers.
You can check the name that come from the payment, accessing to your profile > Real Name (not editable on PCARS2).
If the reason of the name not matching can be justified it's OK, if we believe there's something smelly about it we have the right to cancel the account and refund.
If the name isn't available you can add a number or a letter.
I believed the user-list wasn't visible to the not-registered member, i'll check again.
