Haven't managed to find answer yet, so can any point out whether these cars are in the career as opponents and/or as a team to be raced for?

I am really disappointed that actually none of the new cars has its own engine sound. I wish there was more effort in this part. For me this is just an unfinished "let's make quick extra money" release. Maybe I stay alone with my opinion, but as I am actually very satisfied with the sound work generally (in terms of quality and level of realism), I am just disappointed how many cars share the same engine sound. I rather like to wait a few weeks more for a DLC but then have it 100% authentic...

The CLK and C9 iirc have the same engine.
The Speed 8 would sound exactly like a Petrol Audi Prototype, should we have had one. Because it is essentially one.
The V12 LMR sounds maybe vaguely like the FB, but I don't really hear the connection to anything
The GT3 sounds the most 'generic' I guess, but it's still fitting
The F1 GTR would sound like the Roadcar because they have the same engine..

I really don't see what the problem is.

Words of wisdom: You're probably not going to get in trouble for offering feedback/bugs. You are going to get in trouble if you're told to stop doing something and continue doing it. Please don't be afraid to post feedback/bugs. That's silly.

I'm sorry if it is a langauage barrier here, but I reckon you don't mean bug's with this statement:

    FEATURE UPDATES

Project CARS was created by the community and we’re committed to continuing that conversation with players to ensure it has the features and functionality expected by them throughout the year and beyond. At regular intervals therefore, all Project CARS players will receive a free game update that includes the following…

•Fixes for the highest priority issues identified by the community
    http://www.projectcarsgame.com/on-demand.html

Because it's not all right to take money for fixing bugs in my opinion.

    Based on real life engines:
    Bentley GT3 = 4.0L twin-turbo V8
Speed 8 = 4.0L Twin Turbo Audi prototype engine
    CLK LM = Sauber engine
F1 GTR = BMW Macau engine
