I thought it odd given that Oculus has a logo in the game startup menu and that page mentions steering wheels and 4K displays as well as Steam Shield because it seems the logical place to advertise that this is an Oculus Rift enabled game.

Is it possible it is no longer a fully supported feature as such ? Pray that is not true !
I seriously doubt that support has been dropped. Far more likely is that given the OR is still currently a developer tool (regardless of how many end users have bought them) support might not be official until a consumer version is more official.

Would seem a little mad to me to officially announce support for something that does not have even a hint of a release day or final specs ....

Can't offer Steam Early Access, here's why. Valve, once you submit your game to being distributed on the Steam platform, gives you 3 choices(it's an automated process now). Go full release, accept pre-orders(with private beta testing, the option that SMS has), go Early Access. Early Access funding is all handled by Valve whom passes on the sales to the developer. Early Access titles are not refundable.
Pre-Order monies are held onto by Valve until the game is released(pre-orders are a purchase contract between the buyer and Steam, not the game publisher, so it is refundable to your wallet). Valves only obligation at the time of purchase is to make sure you can download the product when it's released.
SMS self funded through WMD. Your WMD tool kit is a purchase contract of sorts with SMS whom has an agreement with Steam to distribute it when it's ready.
So, the short of it is, Steam Pre-Order customers only options are to sit and wait or ask Valve to refund to their Steam wallet.

Also the beta client still requires a WMD login. Remember what happened last time the WMD login was removed?

I am getting more and more questions from my racing community concerning a specific release day, after the Fanatec support was announced. The official statement so far is "May".

Since last week pCARS can be pre-ordered via PSN for the PS4 with the following dates included in the PS Store:

Download date: 6th of May 2015
Launch date: 7th of May 2015
    Debit charge date: 5th - 8th of May 2015

    Name: PSN-Vorbestellungs-Info.jpg
Views: 48
Size: 35.5 KB

Is that something we can rely on? I mean, is it realistic that 7th of May could be the release date indeed?

And one last question that keeps the people busy, too: is a release date gap planned between the hardcopy versions of the game and the digital ones (Steam, Live, PSN)?

    Thanks in advance!

I'm reading that some WMD members have received the full game? Is this not true or is there somewhere I should be able to get a code for the full release?

Either way it's not long now!!!
