Great work Rob, you gotta try and convince the rest of the devs to get this in the main page, would be a nice way to show the project is active and constantly fixing stuff.

Thanks for your Update but these sentence can be missunderstood. Because the Z4 and the M1 are Team Member up. A little hint behind should solve it :D

This had totally passed me by (I know I'm supposed to read everything being a mod :a24:) OMG, just had a play with it and now I can get the cockpit view I've always wanted.:a37:
A nice view where the monitor is the windscreen, just a bit of dash rail visible over my physical wheel. Up the FOV and it's pretty good for me as long as my motion sickness keeps at bay (100 world movement, and 0 G-Force effect helps with that) , but shall persevere with it as this is the view I want.
Just need to be able to use my symprojects gauges and I'll be good to go ... although 3 screens would help :a32:

I'm back off to chase some ghosts .....

hmm points like this

In-race saving will be coming to Project CARS - Click Here (http://forum.wmdportal.com/showthread.php?303-UI-Engineering-Report&p=237270#post237270)
makes me wonder how the infromation are spreaded.

AndyT introduced a new UI with a screenshot, ppl started questioning, AndyT and AndyG answered them and by this gave new information, this info has been caught by Rob before it got buried alive and introduced in this thread. (Because it's posted here I guess is hasn't been posted anywhere else?)

Looking at this example, wouldn't it be better if the SMS-Member that introduce something new wrote a short statement/explanation/introduction to it? Also a good opportunity to tell what just didn't made it into build XY and what wil be installed next.

Yes it would take some extra time but it could save time, reading thru questions and very well known bug- or issue-posts, and because all SMS-member are good guys, they answer the questions so a introduction could save time. Also if there is a introduction a nice piece of information is in one spot, and can be edited if necessary, and not spread across thread(s). If you don't follow something new from the start, you find a thread, peppered with information, and you read a mix of valid and already invalid informations.

Maybe it would be just enough to answer significant questions in #1 or #2 of that thread, instead in the thread flow. I mean I feel like AndyG is providing a lot of information by answering questions on nearly every topic, but if Rob or 8arracuda n.k.a Michael Steiner or some else don't catch 'em and post 'em in a information collection thread, they get burried by an avalanche of posts.

Thx for this summary. Now it's easier to get the changes than going to different posts from the devs and the mods. And as as it is readable for free members they can also get the progress behind the scenes and hopefully we get some new full members.

Floating karts in replays have been fixed

Illogical though it may be, I feel a strabge tinge of sadness that the floating karts bug has been fixed. Was kind of hoping that this would be the last bug to be fixed before release (put a fork in it, it's done now). In years to come, I'm sure us old timers will reminisce about it ;)

Cheers

Mark

These congregated news are really awesome, for example "In-race saving will be coming to Project CARS" is quite a big deal to me, but I would never notice the relevant posts on my own, since I don't visit the UI section that often.
So... THANKS!
