Hey JonZ... You've come up with another cracking little film there. It's awesome – and I have no doubt that anyone that loves Sim Racing and isn't already part of the pCars community will want to be after watching it :D

Very, very nice JonZ you are one talented individual. I don't know what kind of experience you have making trailers but yours are top notch man. I love all the close-ups of the instrument panels and gauges with the needles in action and especially the part with the Z4 hole shot it looks and sounds damn cool! If I had to pick one, my favorite part is between 0:01 and 2:58.

JonZ needs to be hired by SMS for future projects where SMS wants video-work... seriously, if I didn't know it was by one of us, I would have sworn up and down it was done:
a) with ACTUAL cars
b) by a VERY HIGH-PRICED videography agency
c) on a game that was already released.

I still have to pick up my jaw from seeing that in HD... wow... just wow.

Excellent work as usual SMS & JonZ. :)

We've made the frontpage of Blue's News, which is probably the most popular gaming news site I know of. I've literally been visiting it about as long as I've been on the net. Since 1995, '96, somewhere around then.

Never heard of that site to be honest but this is certainly very cool :)

Was called Blue's Quake Rag back in the day. They dealt mostly with PC first-person-shooters. These days he covers just about everything. Great site, I check it a few times a day to stay up on the current news.

They have a rather large audience of PC gamers with Steam accounts. :) Everyone who has Skyrim or Half-Life 2 has Steam.

The Blue's News members tend to frown on piracy, as they want to keep great companies making great games.

They say they've had over 2/3 of a billion visitors since '97.

Anyway, it may be worthwhile to keep them posted on significant developments with the game. The vast majority of comments on Blue's News so far have been positive. I'm personman_145 on Blue's News comments.

I'm pretty sure Micas got the news across to those guys :)

I didn't realise that was such a popular site, might check it out.

This may be off topic, but I wonder when it might be appropriate to pre-sell this and let early buyers in to the pre/alpha/beta? Similar to what other companies do with BattleGame X.

That might be win win in a lot of ways. People who missed out on funding can get in, and the company gets cash flow from a completely non-investment.

I think we shouldn't do that. The WMD platform is for early access, and missing out is just part of the appeal for the next project :)

I'm still all for it being pre-orderable, but I think it would be best to keep the WMD structure as unique as possible to really show it's success properly, rather than using other methods (like early-access etc) which could be interpreted as being necessary for this model to work.

What you said makes sense to me.

Blue's News used to have it's own "slashdot effect" where merely mentioning a site was enough to crash their web server. I think bandwidth is more plentiful these days.
